Chapter Thirty-Two: The Art of Multiplication! [Second Update]
Wishing all esteemed readers a joyful Mid-Autumn Festival!
Shu Mingyuan’s arm suddenly swelled to a size even greater than that of the jailer beast Minotaurus. Pale blue chakra enveloped his palm and burst forth in an instant. The previously menacing Minotaurus was struck as if by a mighty blow, and now it was his turn—cracking and splintering sounds echoed all over its body.
Blood gushed from its maw, and the wall on one side of the corridor was reduced to ruins. Yet, as one of the four great jailer beasts of the Impel Down prison, even after being bombarded by the improved Mahki shells from Buggy, it could still rise and fight on. Shu Mingyuan certainly did not believe that a single Super Push Palm would be enough to deal with it.
The beast roared in fury, brandishing its spiked club and, in a flash, swung it down at Shu Mingyuan with terrifying force. After all, even Mr. 2 Bon Clay, with a bounty of 32 million Berries, stood no chance against it—the Minotaurus’s monstrous strength was truly fearsome.
“Out of my way! Don’t waste my time!” Shu Mingyuan’s enlarged palm intercepted the blow directly, enduring the force head-on. Then, with a sudden grasp, he seized the spiked club, twisted his wrist, and smashed it down onto the floor with immense power.
The corridor shattered, wild energy exploded, and under this assault, the jailer beast Minotaurus finally lost the ability to resist. Blood oozed from every inch of its body, its bones broken beyond count.
Leaping onto the beast, Shu Mingyuan rode the monster as it crashed through the stairwell down to the fourth basement level. The corridor on this floor was nearly obliterated. The surveillance Den Den Mushi on the walls transmitted the scene back to the control room, sending shivers of terror through all the guards.
This escapee was so powerful he could defeat the Minotaurus in just two moves!
“R-report to Warden Hannibal! The jailer beast Minotaurus has been defeated!”
“What? Isn’t that brat’s bounty only fifty million Berries? He’s never even been to the Grand Line. How could he possess such strength? The jailer beasts are supposed to handle pirates with bounties under a hundred million!”
“Warden Hannibal, the surveillance footage confirms it. Also, due to the intensity of the battle between the Demon Hunter Shu Mingyuan and the Minotaurus, the stairs from Level 3 to Level 4 have completely collapsed! The Demon Hunter is now in the Blazing Hell of Level 4! Should we inform Magellan, sir?”
“Damn it! This brat’s strength is definitely not as simple as it appears. If I catch him, it’ll be a great achievement for me—maybe I’ll become chief warden myself! Gahahaha!” Hannibal envisioned his moment of glory and couldn’t help but laugh.
“This is no prison riot; there’s no need to inform Magellan. Soon, the chief’s seat will be mine! Little Sadi, take the other three jailer beasts and guard the entrance to the Freezing Hell’s stairwell in Blazing Hell. I’ll take the elevator to the Freezing Hell myself! This escaped criminal won’t get away this time!”
“Yes, sir!”
Shu Mingyuan punched open the gates of Blazing Hell. In his memory, the passage to the Freezing Hell lay on the other side of this level.
Blazing Hell was a realm of searing flames and boiling blood pools. The oppressive heat here could turn Level 3 into a barren wasteland.
The moment he opened the door, a scorching wave blasted him in the face. Shu Mingyuan frowned; the temperature was far higher than he had anticipated. Compared to this, the boiling water on Level 1 was as mild as cool tea.
A faint blue chakra shimmered around him, instantly dispelling the heat. Step by step, he walked toward the stairwell leading down to Level 5, and at the entrance, he suddenly encountered another group.
A seductive, alluring woman in pink, three fierce jailer beasts, and a contingent of Impel Down guards were stationed firmly at the gate to the Freezing Hell.
“Well, it’s not Magellan or Shiryu of the Rain. That’s good news,” Shu Mingyuan sighed in relief. As long as it wasn’t those two, things remained manageable. Chief Warden Magellan had developed the Paramecia Venom-Venom Fruit to its utmost limits—his strength rivaled that of an admiral. The other, Head Jailer Shiryu of the Rain, was a swordsman of the greatest caliber, his power no less than Magellan’s. With these two as trump cards, Impel Down truly deserved its reputation as an impregnable fortress.
Even the Marine Headquarters at Marineford only boasted three admirals.
Three jailer beasts and Head Jailer Sadi weren’t easy to handle, but they weren’t insurmountable.
“Demon Hunter Shu Mingyuan, you have the nerve to break out right after being imprisoned, and you’ve reached the Blazing Hell on Level 4! Hurting my pets and causing such a commotion… but this is as far as you go. I’ll have my pets give you proper treatment—you won’t die so easily.”
“Mmm, conquering such a strong man is so thrilling,” Sadi purred, twirling her tongue seductively along her lips as she gripped her whip.
Shu Mingyuan chuckled lightly, “I have no desire to be conquered by a woman like you. I’ll give you two choices: let me pass, or I’ll defeat you all and go myself.”
“Mmm, such a fiery little one, and not even of age yet. Just imagining the sounds you’ll make under torment sends shivers down my spine… My darlings, seize him! But don’t kill him—be careful!”
“You dare use beasts against me? Who gave you the courage!”
“Chidori Style: Ground Surge!”
With a powerful stomp, countless silver bolts of lightning erupted from his body, writhing forward like thunder serpents and enveloping the group ahead. The lightning exploded, leaving all the guards charred and paralyzed on the ground, and the three jailer beasts were also stunned by the sudden surge.
“Shadow Dance Leaf!”
“Chidori!”
Two low shouts sounded almost simultaneously. Shu Mingyuan vanished, and in the next instant, the chirping of a thousand birds echoed as silver lightning wrapped his entire arm. All his strength exploded in that moment as he lunged forward and struck with a devastating punch.
The sheer force of wind and thunder filled the jailer beasts with terror.
With a sickening splatter, Shu Mingyuan’s entire arm punched straight through the chest of one of the beasts. His blood-soaked hand clenched hard, and the creature’s heart was crushed to pulp in his grasp.
From start to finish, it took but three seconds—a monstrous jailer beast slain on the spot.
Gripping the dead beast’s corpse with both hands, Shu Mingyuan hoisted its massive body and hurled it at the other two.
Using the huge body as cover, he pressed forward. His arms spread wide and, under Sadi’s horrified gaze, grew even larger than what the monitors had shown—over thirty meters in length.
“Super Expansion Art: Super Push Palm!”
