Why did I choose Fudan? Besides being tired of writing about Peking University, this book was the main reason.

The greatness of a university lies in the greatness of its scholars.

Just before I started writing this book, I had finished reading "The Grand Biography of Zhang Juzheng," and the final passage left a deep impression on me.

Thus, Xu Chengjun became a disciple of the old master.
